Joe Rogan endorses Trump on eve of the election

Popular podcast host Joe Rogan recently made headlines by officially endorsing former President Donald Trump just before the election. This endorsement was seen as a major win for Trump’s campaign in the final hours leading up to the election.
Rogan’s endorsement came after he featured a two-and-a-half-hour interview with billionaire and Trump supporter Elon Musk on his podcast. Following the interview, Rogan took to social media to express his support for Trump, stating, “The great and powerful @elonmusk. If it wasn’t for him we’d be f**ked. He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way.” He clarified that this was indeed an endorsement of Trump and urged his followers to enjoy the podcast.
This endorsement came shortly after Rogan had interviewed Trump on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” a highly anticipated interview that was strategically planned by the Trump campaign to target young men and low-propensity voters. Trump’s advisers viewed the interview as a successful media strategy to reach a specific demographic.
During one of his rallies in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Trump reacted to Rogan’s endorsement, expressing his gratitude and surprise. He acknowledged Rogan’s tendency to lean more liberal and appreciated the unexpected endorsement.
Interestingly, Rogan also revealed that he had declined an offer from Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign to do an interview. He explained that the campaign had offered a date for an interview, but it would have required him to travel to her location and the interview would only be one hour long. Rogan preferred to conduct interviews in his Austin studio for a more in-depth conversation, expressing his desire to get to know Harris as a person.
The Harris campaign chose not to comment on Rogan’s decision regarding the interview offer. Overall, Rogan’s endorsement of Trump has sparked conversations and debates within political circles, showcasing the influence and reach of podcast hosts in today’s media landscape.
