Josh Sullivan, kidnapped American pastor, rescued by South African authorities

Authorities in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa successfully rescued an American pastor who was kidnapped in a dramatic operation that ended in a deadly shootout at a house in KwaMagxaki, Gqeberha. The Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (HAWKS) led the operation, which resulted in the safe recovery of the pastor.

The pastor, identified as 34-year-old Josh Sullivan from Tennessee, was abducted by a group of armed and masked men at his church in the Eastern Cape.
