MacDonald Bridge continues at night closures on Monday evening

Closures Scheduled for MacDonald Bridge and Driveway

Halifax Harbor Bridges has announced upcoming closures for the MacDonald Bridge and a nearby driveway.

The Dwarsharbour Span Width of the MacDonald Bridge will be closed for five hours, from midnight until 5 am on Tuesday morning.

In addition, the driveway from Barrington Street to the bridge will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. every evening from Monday to Thursday this week.

These closures are part of the ongoing “Project LifePan,” which involves the removal of scaffolding on the bridge. As a result, several night closures are planned for the MacDonald Bridge in the coming weeks.

The bridge will be closed again this Wednesday and Friday night, as well as next Monday, Wednesday, and Friday night.
