Man, 19, Death after motorcycle crashes in Lawrencetown

RCMP in Halifax says that a 19-year-old man is dead after the motorcycle he drove collided with a vehicle in Lawrencetown, Halifax County.

Nova Scotia RCMP says that a 19-year-old man is dead after the motorcycle he drove collided with a vehicle in Lawrencetown, Halifax County.

A press release from RCMP said that the police responded on Saturday around 6.45 pm to a report from a motorcycle in a ditch on Lawrencetown Road.

The Mounties say that the motorcycle and an SUV collided.

The police say that the driver of the motorcycle, a 19-year-old man from Lucasville, was taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead.

The driver and the only occupant of the SUV were not injured.

The police say that an investigation has started.
