Man, 25, dead after fatal crash in East Hants

East Hants RCMP say they’re investigating a collision between a van and a truck that left a 25-year-old man dead on Monday.

East Hants RCMP are investigating a collision between a van and a truck that left a 25-year-old Colchester County man dead on Monday.

Police said the driver of the van was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the truck and a passenger, both from the Truro, N.S., area, suffered minor injuries. 

An RCMP news release said the collision at the intersection of Highway 14 and South Rawdon Road in South Rawdon, N.S., happened at around 11:50 a.m. AT on Monday.

The road was closed for a few hours in the aftermath of the crash.
