Lifeguard surveillance on Nova Scotia’s beaches begins July 1

HALIFAX, NS — Lifeguard supervision on most Nova Scotia beaches begins Saturday, July 1.

They will be supervised daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until August 27.

Surveillance is only available on weekends for Mavillette Beach in Digby County and Clam Harbor Beach in Halifax Regional Municipality.

A list of supervised beaches and daily updates on conditions is available online.
