Man accused of murder of ‘beloved’ mother

A man appeared in the court accused of murder after the death of a woman in Halifax, while her family tried.

Paris Kendall, 36, was found dead on Keighley Road, Illingworth, just after 13:30 BST on Wednesday.

Lee Taylor, 40, from Wellington Place in Halifax, previously appeared at the court of Leeds Magistrates and will then appear on Bradford Crown Court on Tuesday.

Mrs. Kendall’s family said she was a “beloved” mother and daughter and they were “absolutely destroyed by her loss.”

“We want to thank everyone who has paid such a friendly tribute to Paris because they are a source of comfort in what is a terrible time,” they added.

“We would now respectfully ask for privacy in the coming days, while we will continue to mourn.”
