Man airlifted to hospital after falling over Kings County cliff

A man in his 30s was airlifted to hospital after falling over a cliffside in Kings County Friday night.
RCMP, paramedics and firefighters were called to a section of the North Mountain in Viewmount, north of Berwick, after someone called just before 7:30 p.m. to say the man had fallen between 25 and 35 metres down over the cliff.
RCMP spokesman Sgt. Andrew Joyce said the man was traveling along an ATV trail at the time, but his information indicated the man was on foot when he fell over the side.
Firefighters rescued the man, who suffered life-threatening injuries, and pulled him up the slope to waiting paramedics.
The incident is still under investigation.
