Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates met with President Donald Trump

Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft, visited the White House on Tuesday for a meeting with the president, as confirmed by a spokesperson for Gates.

According to a statement obtained by Fox News Digital, the spokesperson stated, “Bill met with the president to discuss the critical importance of U.S. global health programs and research initiatives that are essential for saving lives, safeguarding Americans’ health, and maintaining U.S. leadership worldwide.”

Fox News Digital reached out to the White House for comment on Wednesday.

Prior to the president’s second term inauguration, Emma Tucker, the Editor-in-Chief of the Wall Street Journal, inquired whether Gates had met with Trump following Trump’s victory in the 2024 presidential election.

Gates stated that their meeting was a “quite intriguing dinner,” lasting over three hours.

During the meeting, an individual who Gates described as “helping manage things for me” was present, along with Susie Wiles, Gates added.
