Mississippi lawmaker proposed paying bounty hunters for helping depot illegal immigrants
A Mississippi lawmaker has introduced a controversial bill that would pay bounty hunters for their assistance in deporting illegal immigrants. House Bill 1484 proposes the creation of the Mississippi Illegal Alien Certified Bounty Hunter Program, which would reward registered bounty hunters with $1,000 for each successful deportation they facilitate.
Republican state Rep.
