Exciting news was announced during President Donald Trump’s Cabinet meeting at the White House by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. She revealed that documents related to the 1968 assassinations of Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. will be released in the coming days. Gabbard mentioned that over 100 individuals have been diligently working around the clock to scan paperwork related to both tragic events and the subsequent investigations. These documents have been stored away in boxes for decades, never before scanned or seen. However, they will soon be ready for release to the public.

President Trump expressed his approval of this development, stating, “That’s great,” before turning to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the son of the late senator. Trump inquired about RFK Jr.’s feelings regarding the upcoming release of the documents. RFK Jr. responded, “I’m very gratified,” prompting Trump to acknowledge the personal significance of the situation. He emphasized the importance of letting Bobby see some of the documents due to their personal nature, but stressed that it is time for the truth to come to light.

Trump, upon taking office, issued an executive order to declassify files pertaining to the assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr., Robert F. Kennedy, and his brother, former President John F. Kennedy. In March, declassified documents related to the assassination of President Kennedy were released to the public.

Gabbard shared that the government is actively searching through storage lockers at various agencies such as the FBI and CIA to uncover any additional information that has not yet been reported.
