N.S. Mounties investigate homicides after 2 bodies found in burned-out vehicle

The Nova Scotia RCMP have confirmed that human remains discovered in a burned-out vehicle in Pictou County last month belong to two individuals, and their deaths are now being treated as homicides.

The vehicle was found on MacLean Road in Greenhill on November 9th. Five days later, RCMP in Colchester County launched an investigation into the disappearance of Kelly (Keleana) Trask from Truro, which was deemed suspicious. On Wednesday, it was revealed that the 32-year-old woman was one of the two individuals whose remains were found in the vehicle. The second person has been identified as 34-year-old Tyler Meagher from Grand Prairie, Alberta.
