Multiple migrants charged with child assault near Boston amid Wu’s outrage

ICE Agents in Boston Crack Down on Migrant Child Rapists
Numerous migrant suspects have been arrested on charges involving abuse of children in recent years in eastern Massachusetts. The cases have returned to the fore as Boston Mayor Michelle Wu fired back Tuesday at Attorney General Pam Bondi over her letter threatening potential withholding of federal funds or civil action if the city doesn’t cooperate with federal immigration enforcement.
A child under 16 was allegedly raped at a migrant shelter by Haitian national Cory Bernard Alvarez, who was arrested in August 2024, according to ICE’s Boston field office.
“We cannot allow any significant noncitizen threat to the children of our communities to potentially reoffend. ERO Boston will continue to prioritize public safety by arresting and removing egregious noncitizen offenders from New England,” said then-Boston ICE official Todd Lyons – now the agency’s national director.
In a recent crackdown, ICE agents in Boston have arrested several migrant child rapists. A 10-year-old was allegedly molested by his neighbor, a Haitian migrant, in a Boston suburb. Akim Marc Desire, 18, was arrested in September on the charge, and was further detained by ICE.
Another minor of unconfirmed age in the Boston area was also allegedly “horrifically victimized” by Guatemalan national Mynor Stiven De Paz-Munoz.
ICE Director Todd Lyons highlighted the arrest of Jose Fernando-Perez, an illegal immigrant from Guatemala, charged with multiple counts of forcible and aggravated rape of a child in Framingham.
In another case, three other illegal immigrants accused of raping minors were arrested on Nantucket in September of last year. Elmer Sola of El Salvador faced 11 sexual assault-related counts, while Bryan Daniel Aldana-Arevalo of El Salvador was charged with one count of aggravated rape of a child with a 10-year age difference.
ICE has also detained Ecuadorian national Gilberto Avila-Jara in Lawrence for more than 20 child sexual assault-related offenses. Avila-Jara had been deported in 1996 but returned to the U.S. at an unknown date.
The crackdown also led to the arrest of Guatemalan national Sostenes Perez-Lopez near Fenway Park for crimes against a child in Massachusetts. Additionally, Colombian national Mateo Hincapie-Cardona was arrested in the Charlestown section of Boston on charges of enticing a child under 16.
ICE continues to prioritize public safety by arresting and removing egregious alien offenders from New England communities. Fox News’ CB Cotton reported on further recent arrests, including a Haitian migrant who went on an expletive-laden tirade against President Donald Trump while being arrested on 17 charges.
The crackdown on migrant child rapists in Boston underscores ICE’s commitment to ensuring the safety of communities and protecting vulnerable children from harm.

I recently had the opportunity to attend a runway show by a renowned designer during Fashion Week, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The venue was stunning, with sleek white walls and minimalist decor that served as the perfect backdrop for the exquisite designs that were about to grace the runway.
As the lights dimmed and the music started, I felt a rush of excitement as the models strutted down the runway in the most stunning creations. From flowing gowns to tailored suits, each look was more breathtaking than the last. The attention to detail, the intricate beading, and the luxurious fabrics all added to the overall opulence of the collection.
One thing that stood out to me was the use of bold colors and unexpected pairings. The designer pushed the boundaries of traditional fashion norms, mixing unexpected textures and prints to create truly unique and eye-catching looks. It was refreshing to see a designer take risks and think outside the box, and it definitely paid off.
After the show, I had the opportunity to chat with some of the other attendees and discuss our favorite looks from the collection. It was so inspiring to hear different perspectives and see how each person interpreted the designs in their own way.
Attending a high-end runway show during Fashion Week is a dream come true for any fashion lover, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to experience it firsthand.
