N.S. offers $150K for information about disappearance of Jack and Lilly Sullivan

The Nova Scotia government has recently announced a reward of up to $150,000 for any information regarding the disappearance of siblings Lilly and Jack Sullivan. The two children went missing from their rural Pictou County home almost seven weeks ago, sparking a massive search effort by law enforcement and volunteers.

Under a program designed to incentivize the sharing of information that could lead to arrests and convictions in major unsolved crimes, the province hopes that this reward will encourage individuals with crucial details to come forward. Lilly, who is 6 years old, and Jack, who is 4, were reported missing on May 2 from their home in Lansdowne Station, N.S. Despite extensive searches in the densely wooded area surrounding their home and a thorough investigation by the RCMP, the children have yet to be located.

Investigators have determined that the siblings were last seen with their parents on the day before they were reported missing. This information has only added to the mystery surrounding their disappearance. Anyone who has information regarding the case is urged to contact the authorities at 1-888-710-9090. Those who provide information may be required to provide their name and contact details, and could potentially be called upon to testify in court.

This case is just one of 122 unsolved cases in which the province is offering cash rewards for information. While the majority of these cases involve homicides, approximately 20 of them pertain to missing persons. The government is hopeful that by offering these rewards, they can bring closure to families and communities impacted by these unsolved crimes.
