TORONTO – Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg to Produce Original TV Series for Bell Media
Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the comedic duo hailing from Vancouver, have teamed up with Bell Media for an exclusive TV series deal. The pair, along with their production company Point Grey Pictures, will be creating an original scripted show for CTV and the Crave streaming platform.
The collaboration was made possible through Point Grey’s partnership with Lionsgate, although specific details regarding the project have not been disclosed.
This marks Rogen and Goldberg’s first venture into creating a scripted TV series specifically for the Canadian market. However, they have previously worked on Canadian projects, such as the CBC version of “The Great Canadian Pottery Throw Down.”
Point Grey Pictures is known for its work on popular projects like Prime Video’s “The Boys,” the film “Sausage Party,” and the upcoming Apple TV Plus comedy “The Studio,” starring Rogen and Catherine O’Hara.
In a joint statement, Rogen and Goldberg expressed their excitement about the partnership with Bell Media, hoping that it will lead to creatively fulfilling and successful collaborations. They emphasized their love for Canada, stating that the country deserves top-notch content.
