No injuries reported in Halifax mid-day shooting

No one was injured in a shooting in Halifax during the lunch hour Saturday.

Halifax Regional Police said in a press release that they were called to the Kingsmere Court area at 12:38 p.m.

The short, cul-de-sac is at Main Avenue near Willett Street.

Police remained on scene until dinner and asked people to avoid the area while detectives worked on the scene.

Police said there were no injuries, but they did not say whether the shots were aimed at a building or a person.

They did say the shooting is not considered a random incident.
