Noem says two leakers of DHS raids ID’d

The Department of Homeland Security is facing a major scandal as two individuals within the agency have been accused of leaking sensitive information about DHS operations during the Trump administration’s mass deportation plans. Secretary Kristi Noem recently addressed the issue in a video exclusively provided to Fox News, where she expressed her concern over the leaks that have put law enforcement lives at risk.
“We have identified two leakers of information here at the Department of Homeland Security who have been telling individuals about our operations and putting law enforcement lives in jeopardy,” Noem stated in the video. “We plan to prosecute these two individuals and hold them accountable for what they’ve done.”
Noem emphasized the importance of maintaining the security of DHS operations in order to keep America safe. The names of the alleged leakers have not been disclosed, but DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin confirmed that they are expected to face charges.
“We are preparing to refer these perpetrators to the DOJ for felony prosecutions,” McLaughlin said. “These individuals face up to 10 years in federal prison. We will find and root out all leakers. They will face prison time, and we will get justice for the American people.”
This recent leak comes after a previous incident where an ICE raid was leaked ahead of time, causing anger within the agency as officials feared it could result in harm to ICE agents. Noem reassured the public that the agency remains undeterred by leaks and is committed to carrying out its mission effectively.
In addition to the recent leaks, previous incidents in Los Angeles and Aurora, Colorado have also been linked to unauthorized disclosures of sensitive information. Border czar Tom Homan has indicated that the administration is closing in on the individuals responsible for these leaks, with suspicions pointing towards the FBI.
Attorney General Pam Bondi has echoed the sentiments of holding leakers accountable for jeopardizing the lives of law enforcement officers. Bondi emphasized the importance of maintaining the security of sensitive information and ensuring the safety of those involved in immigration enforcement efforts.
As the investigation into the leaks continues, the Department of Homeland Security remains focused on upholding its mission to protect the nation and secure its borders. The agency is determined to identify and prosecute those responsible for compromising the security of DHS operations.
