Iran denies breaking ceasefire as Israel orders military to strike Tehran

Iran has seemingly ignored President Donald Trump’s plea to uphold the ceasefire he brokered between the Islamic Republic and Israel. In response, Israel has vowed to retaliate against the alleged violation, with Defense Minister Israel Katz ordering the military to strike Tehran. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Chief of the General Staff Maj. Gen. Eyal Zamir also promised a forceful response to Iran’s actions.
Despite Iran’s military denying any breach of the ceasefire, air raid sirens were heard across Israel, prompting a swift reaction from the Israeli government. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office confirmed that the Israeli Air Force destroyed a radar array near Tehran in response to Iran’s alleged violation of the ceasefire.
A senior Israeli official revealed to Fox News that they believe Iran will continue to fire missiles towards Israel in the coming hours. Both countries engaged in military actions before the ceasefire was implemented, with Israel conducting airstrikes and Iran launching missile barrages, resulting in casualties.
President Trump expressed his disappointment with the ceasefire’s breakdown, urging both nations to de-escalate the conflict. He specifically called on Israel to refrain from further attacks, warning that it would constitute a major violation of the ceasefire. Trump emphasized the need for peace and urged Israel to bring its pilots back safely.
After speaking to reporters, Trump took to social media to reassure that Israel would not launch any more attacks and that the ceasefire was still in effect. He expressed confidence in the stability of the ceasefire and praised Israel for achieving its objectives in the conflict. Following a conversation between Trump and Netanyahu, Israel refrained from further military action.
The situation between Iran and Israel remains tense, with both countries on high alert. The ceasefire brokered by President Trump hangs in the balance as the international community watches closely for any developments. The hope is for a peaceful resolution to the conflict and an end to hostilities between the two nations.
