Nova Scotia inks pact with Lebanese universities to bring more doctors to province
The Lebanese American University in Beirut has made a commitment to send 10 physicians to Nova Scotia over the course of five years. These doctors, who are ready to begin practicing medicine, will play a crucial role in addressing the shortage of healthcare professionals in the province.
As part of the agreement, these physicians will be required to work in Nova Scotia for a minimum of three years. This commitment is aimed at ensuring that the province benefits from their expertise and that residents have access to the medical care they need.

In addition to the agreement with the Lebanese American University, Nova Scotia has also signed agreements with the American University of Beirut. Already, two doctors from this university are practicing in the province, with two more expected to arrive soon.
