Boston and Los Angeles are setting the standard for resisting President Donald Trump’s ambitious second-term agenda in New York City, according to Zohran Mamdani. The Democratic mayoral nominee emphasized the importance of standing up to Trump rather than backing down or collaborating with him.
When questioned about how he would respond if Trump attempted to eliminate cashless bail in New York City, Mamdani asserted that he would fight back. He praised the approach of Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum as examples of effective resistance against the Trump administration.
