Overturned tractor-trailer closes section of Dartmouth highway

A section of highway heading towards Akerley Boulevard in Dartmouth is temporarily closed as crews try to clean up after a tractor-trailer tipped over on Tuesday morning. 

Halifax Regional Police originally closed one lane of Akerley Boulevard after a tractor-trailer overturned heading inbound to the Burnside Business Park near Wilkinson Avenue. 

However, the Department of Public Works has since closed all lanes of traffic of the Highway 107 extension Exit 12 to Akerley Boulevard until further notice. 

There were no immediate reports of injuries.
