Liberal MP Pablo Rodriguez, who is expected to announce his resignation from cabinet on Thursday, is planning to sit as an Independent, Radio-Canada is reporting.
CBC had previously reported that Rodriguez intends to throw his hat in the ring for the Quebec Liberal Party leadership. He will be speaking at 11 a.m. ET.
