Pacers one win from NBA Finals after Game 4 victory puts Knicks on brink

The Indiana Pacers are on the brink of making it to the NBA Finals after a thrilling victory in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the New York Knicks. The Pacers secured a 130-121 win to take a commanding 3-1 series lead and put themselves in a great position to advance.

In the fourth quarter, Indiana continued to push ahead with a 9-5 run to start the final frame, establishing a 15-point lead, their largest of the night. The Knicks made a late surge, cutting the deficit to six points with under five minutes remaining. However, the Pacers held on and sealed the victory with a clutch three-pointer from former Knick, Obi Toppin.

Tyrese Haliburton put on a stellar performance for the Pacers, recording a triple-double with 32 points, 15 assists, and 12 rebounds without committing a turnover. Pascal Siakam contributed 30 points, while Benedict Mathurin added 20 off the bench. On the Knicks’ side, Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, and OG Anunoby combined for 77 points.

With the win, the Pacers have put the Knicks in a tough position, as New York now needs to win three consecutive games to stay alive in the series. Game 5 will take place in New York on Thursday night, giving the Knicks a chance to turn things around on their home court. However, the pressure is on the Knicks after dropping the first two games at Madison Square Garden.
