It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Teal, a beloved film and TV actor known for his role in the CW teen soap One Tree Hill. Paul Teal, aged 35, lost his battle with Stage 4 neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer on Friday, November 15, after a courageous seven-month fight.

Paul Teal was a cherished member of the entertainment industry, with over a decade-long affiliation with the STW family. His exceptional talent and kind spirit touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of working with him. The void left by his departure will be deeply felt by all who knew him,” Susan Tolar Walters, his agent, expressed in a statement.

His partner, Emilia Torello, took to social media to pay tribute to the actor, calling him her soulmate, rock, and future husband. She described him as thoughtful, inspiring, and loving, highlighting his bravery in the face of his illness.

Paul Teal portrayed the character of Josh Avery in seven episodes of One Tree Hill during the show’s seventh season. His co-stars Bethany Joy Lenz and Sophia Bush shared heartfelt tributes, reminiscing about his infectious smile, laughter, and kind heart.

In addition to his role on One Tree Hill, Paul Teal appeared in various TV series, including Outer Banks and The Walking Dead: World Beyond. He had also filmed a role in the upcoming Starz thriller series The Hunting Wives, based on the novel by May Cobb, alongside Malin Akerman, Brittany Snow, and Dermot Mulroney.
