PGA Championship: Rory McIlroy talks iciness toward LIV Golf star

Rory McIlroy, the golf world’s latest sensation, has just achieved the career Grand Slam by winning the Masters tournament. As he prepares for the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow in North Carolina, McIlroy addressed the icy reception he gave Bryson DeChambeau during the Masters.
DeChambeau had mentioned that McIlroy didn’t speak to him at all during their final round together at Augusta. When asked about it, McIlroy nonchalantly brushed it off, stating that his focus was on winning the Masters and not on making friends with his competitors.
Despite the controversy, McIlroy managed to secure his first win at Augusta National, defeating Justin Rose in a playoff. DeChambeau later commented that McIlroy seemed completely in the zone during the tournament.
Looking ahead, McIlroy is now aiming for his third PGA Championship title, having previously won in 2012 and 2014. With his recent success, McIlroy is proving to be a dominant force in the world of golf.
