PNC Championship: Tiger Woods’ son Charlie hits hole-in-one

ORLANDO, Fla. – Charlie Woods Makes His Mark with First Hole-In-One
Tiger Woods may be a golf legend, but it seems that talent runs in the family. His 15-year-old son, Charlie, stole the show at the PNC Championship by hitting his first hole-in-one on Sunday.
The proud father was visibly thrilled by his son’s achievement, showing more excitement than if he had achieved the feat himself.
Charlie Woods used a 7-iron to make the shot from 175 yards on the par-3 fourth hole at the Ritz-Carlton Club Orlando during the final round of the tournament, which pairs major champions with their family members.
Initially unaware of his accomplishment, the young golfer was met with a roaring cheer from the gallery near the green. It wasn’t until television cameras confirmed the hole-in-one that Charlie realized the magnitude of his achievement.
Following the unforgettable moment, Woods embraced his son and playfully pushed him away in excitement.
“First one,” Charlie remarked as cameras surrounded him, capturing the joy and surprise of the moment.
The hole-in-one not only marked a special moment for the Woods family but also temporarily placed them in a share of the lead. This year marks the fifth consecutive year that Woods and his son have participated in the 36-hole tournament.
