It was a thrilling match between the Montreal Victoire and the Minnesota Frost as Mariah Keopple and Alexandra Labelle scored their first goals of the season, securing a 3-2 win for Montreal on Saturday. The game was a nail-biter from start to finish, with both teams putting up a fierce fight on the ice.

The game-changing moment came almost six minutes into the second period when Marie-Philip Poulin scored the winning goal for Montreal. Poulin converted a 2-on-1 opportunity from Laura Stacey and Jennifer Gardiner, putting Montreal ahead and ultimately sealing their third consecutive victory. Montreal may have had better control of the game from the beginning, but it was Minnesota who struck first with Britta Curl-Salemme finding the back of the net near the middle of the first period, assisted by Claire Thompson and Taylor Heise. However, Montreal quickly responded in the last five minutes of the period with goals from Keopple and Labelle, turning the tide in their favor.

On the other end, Maddie Rooney made 22 saves for Minnesota, but it was not enough to secure the win. Both teams put up a strong fight, but Montreal emerged victorious in the end.

Looking ahead, Boston will face off against Montreal on Monday, while Minnesota will have a chance for redemption when they play against Boston on Thursday. The competition is heating up as the season progresses, and fans can expect more thrilling matches to come.
