Power disturbance has consequences for thousands in Halifax

A power outage had consequences on Monday morning for several thousand people in a regional neighborhood of the regional municipality of Halifax.

Nova Scotia Power failure card showed the disruption of customers in areas such as FairView, Bayers Lake and Fairmount.

At its peak, the malfunction had around 4,700 customers.

The cause is mentioned as investigated. The utility says it hopes to have recovered electricity at 1.15 p.m.

A second current interruption was reported in the Manor Park area of Dartmouth just after 8:00 am on Monday.

NSP’s drop -out card that indicates the estimated restoration time for this dropout, which influenced around 2,700 customers, is 11:00 am.
