Quebec man dead after 2-vehicle collision on Highway 102 in Enfield

A tragic accident on Highway 102 in Enfield, Nova Scotia, resulted in the death of a 51-year-old Quebec man and left two others with serious injuries. The incident occurred when a pickup truck traveling southbound crossed the median, became airborne, and collided with an SUV traveling in the opposite direction.
According to RCMP, the driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene, while their passenger sustained serious but non life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. The driver of the pickup, a 38-year-old man from South Carolina, also suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The highway was closed at Exit 7 for approximately six hours following the crash, leading to significant traffic delays in the area. RCMP are urging anyone with information or dashcam footage of the collision to come forward or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
