RCMP recover truck and puppy stolen in Colchester County

Nova Scotia RCMP have reported that a seven-month-old Bernese mountain dog and a Dodge Ram 2500 were stolen in Central North River on Friday evening. The theft was reported around 6:30 p.m. on a property on Highway 311.

The police initially took to social media just after 8 p.m. on Friday to seek the public’s help in locating the missing dog and red 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 crew cab. However, in a positive turn of events, the authorities announced at 10:15 p.m. that both the truck and the puppy had been recovered.

In an update shared on social media, the RCMP stated, “Good news! RCMP officers have located the stolen vehicle and the Bernese Mountain Dog. The puppy is safe and sound!”

The Nova Scotia RCMP also shared an image of the young Bernese mountain dog and the pickup truck that were reported stolen in Colchester County. The image showed the adorable puppy sitting inside the truck, emphasizing the urgency of finding them.
