Relaxed and rejuvenated, George Springer enjoys his back-back season

George Springer is having a standout summer in Toronto, showcasing his skills as an outfielder for the Blue Jays and designated hitter. With a .301 batting average and six home runs in the last 10 games, he is definitely in his element.
Before facing off against the Minnesota Twins at Rogers Center, George was seen dancing next to the batting cage, completely at ease and enjoying the moment. This is a far cry from last year when he struggled with a .220 batting average, 19 home runs, and 56 RBIs.
Reflecting on his past performance, George acknowledged the frustration that comes with underperforming but emphasized the importance of staying focused on success. This season, he has been on fire, hitting four home runs in a recent game against the Twins and maintaining an impressive batting average since returning from the injured list.
Speaking about his recovery from a head injury earlier in the season, George praised the medical staff for helping him get back on the field. Despite the challenges he faced, he has been a key player for the Blue Jays since signing with the team in 2021.
The Blue Jays currently hold a four-game lead in the American League East Division, thanks in part to George’s contributions on the field. With a strong record and support from fans across Canada, George is proud to represent the only Canadian team in the MLB.
As he continues to excel on the field, George is grateful for the opportunity to play for a team that is committed to its players, fans, and the country as a whole. With the support of the organization and the fans behind him, George is looking forward to a successful season in Toronto.
