We cannot continue to spend recklessly and borrow money from future generations without consequences. I am also committed to working with President Trump and my colleagues in Congress to address the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. While I believe in supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty and condemning Vladimir Putin’s aggression, we must also consider the impact of sending billions of dollars in aid overseas while our own country is facing significant challenges.

As a former federal prosecutor, I have seen firsthand the impact of crime and violence on our communities. I am dedicated to working with law enforcement agencies to ensure they have the resources and support they need to keep our neighborhoods safe. I will also prioritize addressing the root causes of crime, including mental health issues, drug addiction, and poverty.
