Three men allege Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs drugged and raped them in new lawsuit

Three men have filed lawsuits against Sean “Diddy” Combs in New York, alleging that the hip-hop mogul drugged and raped them. These lawsuits, filed anonymously in a state court, are part of a growing wave of sexual assault litigation against Combs, who is also facing federal sex trafficking charges in New York.
Thomas Giuffra, a New York attorney representing the men, claims that Combs used his power and wealth to take advantage of the accusers and then silenced them through threats and fear. “This is a long overdue opportunity for the victims to take back their power after suffering in silence for years,” Giuffra said in a statement. “While a lawsuit cannot undo the harm that was done to them, it allows the survivors to reclaim the power and dignity that was taken from them by Sean Combs.”
Combs, the founder of Bad Boy Records, has denied the allegations, with his lawyers stating that the claims are baseless. They have pledged to prove the accusations false and seek sanctions against the lawyers who filed the lawsuits.
The lawsuits detail incidents that occurred between 2019 and 2022, where the men, identified as John Doe, say they were given drugged drinks and then sexually assaulted by Combs and others. Each of the accusers is seeking a jury trial and unspecified damages from Combs.
One of the men alleges that he was drugged and raped by Combs in 2020 during a meeting at Combs’s suite at the InterContinental hotel in Times Square. The meeting was supposed to discuss payments owed to the man as a longtime employee of Combs. Another man claims he was drugged and assaulted by Combs at an after-party in 2019 at the Park Hyatt hotel in Manhattan. The third man alleges that he was drugged and raped by Combs and his associates during a party at Combs’s mansion in East Hampton, N.Y., in 2020.
In addition to these lawsuits, Combs is facing federal charges for allegedly coercing and abusing women for years through a network of associates, using drug-fueled sexual performances known as “Freak Offs.” Prosecutors claim that he silenced his victims through blackmail and violence, including kidnapping and physical abuse.
Despite seeking release until his trial in May, Combs was denied bail for the third time last month and remains in a federal jail in Brooklyn, N.Y.
