Richardson International buys Anglia Maltings, terms not disclosed.
WINNIPEG – Richardson International Ltd, says Ragleth Ltd. has purchased, the parent company of Anglia Maltings (Holdings) Ltd.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Based in England, Anglia Maltings has a portfolio of companies including Crisp Malt, Micronized Food Products (MFP) and EDME Food Ingredients.
It operates seven malting facilities in the United Kingdom, Poland and Germany.
Winnipeg-based Richardson says Crisp Malt supplies barley to breweries and distilleries and the food industry, while MFP specializes in producing grains and legumes for breweries and animal feed.
EDME Food Ingredients makes malted and unmalted ingredients for the bakery industry.
