Among the 88 individuals recognized with the Order of Canada this week for their exceptional contributions to the country, Reynolds stood out alongside scientists, advocates, and artists.

The Governor General’s office commended Reynolds for his philanthropic efforts, including his involvement with organizations such as Water First Education, Covenant House Vancouver, and the Sick Kids Foundation.

Notable figures like curler Kevin Martin, LGBTQ+ advocate Diane Pitre, author Maureen Jennings, and executive Randy Lennox, who has led companies like Universal Music Canada and Bell Media, were also among the appointees.

It is worth mentioning that Reynolds was previously honored with the Order of British Columbia last year, recognizing his contributions to his home province.
