Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs accused of drugging, sexually assaulting 3 men
NEW YORK –
In a shocking turn of events, three men have come forward to sue hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs in New York, alleging that he drugged and raped them. The lawsuits, filed anonymously in a state court, are the latest in a series of sexual assault allegations against the rapper, producer, and record executive. This comes as Combs also faces federal sex trafficking charges in New York.
Attorney Thomas Giuffra, who filed the lawsuits on behalf of the accusers, stated that Combs used his power and wealth to take advantage of the men and then silenced them through threats and fear. He emphasized that this legal action is a way for the victims to reclaim their power after years of suffering in silence.
Combs, the 55-year-old founder of Bad Boy Records, has vehemently denied the allegations, with his legal team calling the claims baseless and full of lies. They have vowed to prove the accusations false and seek sanctions against the lawyers involved in filing the lawsuits.
The lawsuits detail incidents that allegedly occurred between 2019 and 2022. The accusers, identified as John Doe, claim that they were given drugged drinks and subsequently sexually assaulted by Combs and others. Each man is seeking unspecified damages and a jury trial.
One of the men alleges that he was drugged and raped by Combs in 2020 during a meeting at the InterContinental hotel in Times Square. The encounter was supposed to be a discussion about payments owed to the man as a former employee of Combs.
Another accuser states that he was drugged and assaulted by Combs at a party in 2019 at the Park Hyatt hotel after meeting the mogul at a Manhattan nightclub. The man claims he was given money after the assault by an individual who had recorded the incident.
The third man alleges that he was drugged and raped by Combs and his associates at a summer party in 2020 at Combs’ mansion in East Hampton.
Combs is currently facing federal charges for coercing and abusing women over the years, involving drug-fueled sexual performances known as “Freak Offs.” Prosecutors claim that Combs used blackmail and violence to silence his victims, including kidnapping and physical abuse.
Despite seeking release until his trial in May, Combs has been denied bail three times and remains in a federal jail in Brooklyn. The legal battle surrounding these serious allegations continues to unfold.
