Fox News political analyst Gianno Caldwell has been seeking answers for nearly three years following the tragic murder of his younger brother, Christian Beamon, in 2022. Beamon, just 18 years old at the time, was one of two individuals killed in a shooting on Chicago’s South Side on June 24, 2022. The attack, according to the Chicago Police Department (CPD), was not intended for him.

“It’s heartbreaking for my family and me to still be seeking answers regarding my brother’s murder,” Caldwell shared with Fox News Digital. “I never imagined three years ago that we would still be in this position. It’s devastating to know that families like mine experience these tragedies all too often, with years passing without any resolution. But I am committed to fighting for justice for my brother. I have no other choice.”

The CPD has confirmed that the investigation into Beamon’s murder is ongoing, with no suspects currently in custody as of Monday.

The fatal shooting on the 11400 block of South Vincennes Avenue also claimed the life of an 18-year-old woman, left a 31-year-old man in critical condition, and a 25-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the leg. The perpetrator, described as an unidentified male, fled the scene in a black sedan and has not been apprehended since the incident.

Gianno Caldwell’s efforts to seek justice for his brother have garnered the attention of “America’s Most Wanted” host John Walsh. Walsh, who famously solved his own son’s murder case in 1981, expressed his solidarity with Caldwell and his family.

“I’ve done several shows in Chicago, and I’m the father of a murdered child. My 6-year-old son, Adam, was kidnapped and murdered, so I know what it is to lose a child,” Walsh shared. “You never get over that loss. There’s no such thing as closure. Most murder victims and survivors don’t believe in closure – they believe in ending the search, getting justice.”

Caldwell and Walsh joined forces to bring attention to Beamon’s case on “America’s Most Wanted,” in the hopes that someone with crucial information may come forward to assist in solving the murder.

Despite the passage of years since Beamon’s tragic death, Walsh emphasized that there is always hope for justice. “Justice delayed is not justice denied,” he affirmed.

Chicago has been grappling with a surge in homicides in recent years, reaching a 25-year high in 2021 with 804 killings. While the number of homicides has decreased since then, with 573 recorded in 2024, the city continues to face challenges in addressing violent crime.

Caldwell and Walsh highlighted the need for comprehensive measures to address crime in Chicago, including the importance of supporting law enforcement and upholding victims’ rights. Caldwell’s creation of the Caldwell Institute for Public Safety aims to provide support to families impacted by violent crime and advocate for justice in such cases.

As the investigation into Beamon’s murder continues, the $15,000 reward offered by Cook County Crime Stoppers remains in place for any information leading to the arrest of the perpetrator or perpetrators involved in the shooting.

Gianno Caldwell remains unwavering in his pursuit of justice for his brother, Christian Beamon, and is determined to bring closure to his family and ensure that his brother’s memory is honored.
