Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a night to remember as he scored a career-high 54 points to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 123-114 victory over the Utah Jazz. The Hamilton native’s performance set an NBA single-game record for points scored by a Canadian player, surpassing his previous best of 45 points. Gilgeous-Alexander also contributed with eight rebounds, five assists, and three steals in the game.

At just 26 years old, Gilgeous-Alexander is currently leading the league in scoring with an average of 32 points per game.
