Saskatchewan RCMP Seeking Help in Finding Missing Woman

The Saskatchewan RCMP are reaching out to the public for assistance in locating 33-year-old Leanna Frenchman from Battlefords, who may have been abducted in an early morning carjacking. According to a news release issued by the RCMP, Frenchman was allegedly taken at gunpoint after a man approached her and another woman while they were sitting in a car.

“The adult male threatened the vehicle occupants and stole the vehicle. One of the females, Leanna Frenchman, was reportedly still inside at the time of the carjacking,” the RCMP stated in the release.

Investigators have not been able to locate Frenchman and are considering her as missing. They have expressed concerns for her safety and are actively pursuing leads to locate her. The other woman who was with Frenchman during the incident was unharmed. It is believed that Frenchman did not know the suspect.

The RCMP are currently searching for a red 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix with Saskatchewan license plate 186 NSA, which was the vehicle stolen during the carjacking. Efforts are also underway to obtain a photo of Frenchman to aid in the search.
