Sidelined WNBA star Caitlin Clark spotted carrying toddler through arena

Caitlin Clark, the Indiana Fever guard, was recently spotted carrying a toddler around CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore. This heartwarming moment was captured on camera and shared on social media by Yahoo Sports. Clark, who was sidelined due to a quad injury, took on babysitting duties for the son of Indiana assistant coaches Karima Christmas-Kelly and Austin Kelly.

The Indiana Fever faced off against the Washington Mystics without Clark, resulting in a loss for the team. It was announced that Clark would be out of action for at least two weeks as she recovers from her quad injury. Despite the setback, Fever head coach Stephanie White sees this as an opportunity for Clark to grow and learn from a different perspective.

According to Sports Illustrated, Clark’s absence will give her a chance to observe the game from the sidelines and develop a coaching mindset. White believes that this unique vantage point will allow Clark to see the game in a new light and ultimately improve as a player. The team is optimistic that Clark’s temporary absence will benefit both her and the team in the long run.

While Clark will miss upcoming games against the Connecticut Sun and Chicago Sky, the earliest she could return to action is on June 10 against the Atlanta Dream. In the meantime, she will continue to support her teammates and work towards a full recovery.

It’s clear that Clark’s dedication to the team extends beyond the basketball court, as she willingly stepped in to care for a teammate’s child during a game. Her selflessness and commitment to her teammates are truly commendable, and fans are eagerly awaiting her return to the court.
