Men’s multivitamin bottles recalled due to undeclared soy allergen, FDA says

Men’s multivitamins manufactured by MTN OPS LLC have been recalled due to the presence of an undeclared allergen that may prove deadly to some consumers. The affected product is the Multi-V Men multivitamins, which come in 60-capsule bottles, with a total of 7,546 bottles being recalled.
The recall was issued by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) due to the presence of “undeclared soy flour” in the pills. The FDA classified the recall as Class II, indicating that the products may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences, with a remote probability of serious adverse health consequences.
The recalled multivitamins have an expiration date of March 2026 and carry the lot number #012324177. No other batches of the vitamins are included in the recall. The pills contain essential vitamins such as calcium, zinc, vitamin C, vitamin B-12, vitamin D, and thiamin.
According to the company’s website, the Multi-V Men multivitamins are designed to support men’s daily health and immune health. The product is described as a daily multivitamin providing essential vitamins and minerals necessary for maintaining a strong, healthy, and energetic lifestyle.
Recalls of over-the-counter pills and multivitamins are rare but not unheard of. In 2016, Nature Made recalled some of its vitamins due to potential salmonella or staphylococcus contamination. Similarly, in November, certain lots of the antianxiety drug clonazepam were recalled due to mislabeling with incorrect strength and National Drug Code.
Fox News Digital reached out to MTN OPS for comment but has not received an immediate response. Consumers who have purchased the recalled Multi-V Men multivitamins are advised to discontinue use and contact the company for further instructions.
