A 38-year-old man from Tatamagouche, N.S., died Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in Wentworth.

Cumberland County District RCMP, fire and EHS responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 4 just after 10 a.m.

After arriving at the scene, RCMP learned that a compact car and a tractor-trailer travelling in opposite directions had collided, according to a news release.

The driver and sole occupant of the compact car was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and sole occupant of the tractor-trailer, a 61-year-old Dartmouth man, has minor injuries.
