Exciting news in the world of entertainment! Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have officially announced their engagement. The singer-songwriter took to her Instagram account to share the joyous news, captioning the post with a playful message, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
The Instagram post featured a beautiful gallery of photos from the engagement, showcasing Swift and her NFL player fiancé in a picturesque flower-filled garden. The post quickly garnered over 13.9 million likes within the first hour of being shared.
Swift’s style expert, Sarah Chapelle, who is known for her website Taylor Swift Styled and bestselling book, Taylor Swift Styled, dissected Swift’s outfit from the engagement photos on Instagram.
In the photos, Swift was seen donning a striped silk-blend halter dress with ruched detailing by Ralph Lauren, paired with tan leather sandals from Louis Vuitton. She accessorized her look with a gold Cartier Santos Demoiselle Watch adorned with diamonds.
However, all eyes were on the stunning engagement ring that Swift proudly showcased in the photos. The ring featured a large center gemstone set in yellow gold, exuding elegance and glamour.
According to jewelry designer Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry, who custom-made the ring, it appears to be an elongated “Old Mine” cushion-cut stone. Canadian jeweler Chau Lui, co-founder of Celi, noted that the ring boasts a seven-carat diamond and features intricate hand etching on the band.
If you’re inspired by Swift’s engagement ring, Celi offers a similar five-carat, lab-grown Old Mine-cut diamond ring priced at $16,500.
