Taylor Swift’s 2024 The Eras Tour Has No Canadian Stop
Canadian Swifties aren’t too happy about Taylor Swift’s newly announced 2024 tour dates after the singer failed to make any stops in Canada.
In a tweet tuesdayTaylor Swift wrote, “Can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates.”
Her tweet included a photo of 38 dates, starting Feb. 7, with multiple shows in countries like Australia, the UK and Japan, but none in Canada.
The singer announced that American singer and actress Sabrina Carpenter would join her on the world stage as a special guest.
This is the second leg of international dates for Taylor Swift after she embarked on her eight-month tour on March 17, with the final date set for November 26 in Brazil.
Canadian companies love Much Music agreed saying “Canada, how are you?” with an upside down smiley emoji, while McDonalds Canada noticed“*cries in Canadian*.”
Several fans also took to social media to express their disappointment.
Taylor isn’t going to Canada, it really sucks for all the Canadian swifts who weren’t trying to get tickets to the US dates because they were waiting for the Canada dates. that should have been clear from the start
