The allies of Ukraine meet while Zenskyy travels to Washington to meet Trump

Ottawa-Ukraine and his allies held a virtual meeting on Sunday, while President Volodyyr Zenskyy is preparing for a session with a high commitment with US President Donald Trump, who is fresh from his last attempt to get peace with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Prime Minister Mark Carney’s office says he participated in the call with the ‘Coalition of the Willing’ and that he welcomes the coming meeting with Trump.
A handful of European leaders and NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte Travel to Washington, DC, with Zenskyy for the meeting.
Trump and Putin, who spoke in Alaska for about three hours on Friday, left those discussions without a cease -the fire or peace agreement.
The American president placed Truth Social Sunday and said, “Great progress on Russia. Stay informed!”
Carney’s office did not respond to questions about whether Canada was asked to participate, and the statement does not say whether the prime minister will be part of Monday’s discussions.
