Sarah McLachlan cancels anniversary tour

Canadian singer Sarah McLachlan has announced the unfortunate cancellation of her 30th anniversary “Fumbling Towards Ecstasy” tour. This decision comes as a result of health concerns affecting McLachlan’s vocal cords.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, McLachlan expressed her sorrow over the cancellation, citing the need for vocal rest to prevent permanent damage to her voice. She emphasized the importance of prioritizing her health and recovery.

The tour was originally set to kick off in Rama, Ont., on Nov. 1. However, in October, McLachlan made the difficult decision to postpone the shows in light of her health issues.

Among the scheduled tour stops were two Maritime performances at the Avenir Centre in Moncton on Nov. 4 and the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax on Nov. 5. Fans who were eagerly anticipating these concerts were undoubtedly disappointed by the news of the cancellation.
