The Quebec-based Canadian soldiers who were suspended after 2023 video that shows others who make Nazi greetings

The Canadian Military Police Investigate Video Showing Members Involved in Hateful Behavior
The Canadian military police are currently investigating a disturbing video from 2023 that allegedly shows five serving members participating in a Nazi greeting at an event. These members are reportedly based in Quebec.
Lieutenant General Michael Wright, the commander of the Canadian army, expressed his deep concern over the video and stated that immediate action would be taken. He emphasized that such behavior is completely unacceptable and goes against the values of the Canadian military.
Upon discovery of the video, the army quickly referred the case to the military police. The five individuals identified as serving members have been suspended from their military duties pending a disciplinary investigation to determine the full extent of their involvement in the incident.
“Hatish behavior and extremism have no place in the Canadian army,” stated Wright. “Those who engage in such behavior will face the consequences of their actions, which may include their release from the military.”
While CityNews did not view the video directly, Wright described its contents, which allegedly show individuals performing the Nazi greeting. He emphasized that such behavior is unacceptable and undermines the credibility and integrity of the Canadian military.
“The actions of these individuals are damaging to our reputation and our ability to recruit the best individuals for service in the Canadian army,” Wright continued. “We are committed to upholding the values of respect and inclusion within our ranks.”
