Three-year-old girl dies after crash between ATV and pickup near Linden, Alta.
KNEEHILL COUNTY, ALTA. – Police say a three-year-old girl died earlier this month after an ATV and pickup truck accident in Alberta.
RCMP says they received a report on June 17 of an accident on a road near Linden, Alta, about 60 miles northeast of Calgary.
Police said at the time that the driver of the pickup was unharmed, while the ATV’s occupants, sisters aged three and 10, were taken to hospital.
They also said they believed the ATV was entering the roadway from a rural driveway when it was hit by the passing pickup truck.
Police say the 10-year-old has since been released from hospital, but the three-year-old girl died in hospital on June 20.
RCMP says the investigation is continuing.
