Tracking Hunter Biden’s ex-business partners under Trump: ‘I’m full MAGA now’

With the investigations into whether Hunter Biden used his family name for financial gain now over, his former business partners Devon Archer and Jason Galanis are no longer under the same scrutiny. Both Archer and Galanis received pardons and commutations from President Donald Trump after he took office, freeing them from prison sentences related to defrauding investors and a Native American tribal entity.
Archer, who has been working to gain favor with Trump and even expressed interest in working for the Trump administration, has been keeping busy. He is reportedly working on a book and documentary about his experiences, as well as a business project in the crypto industry. Galanis, on the other hand, thanked President Trump and Republicans for bringing to light what he called “the Biden crime family.”
Meanwhile, James Biden, Hunter’s uncle, is facing scrutiny from Republicans who are requesting that he be prosecuted for lying to Congress. James Biden allegedly denied that his brother met with Hunter’s business associate Tony Bobulinski while pursuing a deal with a Chinese-owned energy company. Bobulinski, a key witness during the GOP’s impeachment inquiry, recently lost a defamation battle against a Fox News host.
Another former business partner of Hunter Biden, Eric Schwerin, has kept a low profile since his testimony during the impeachment inquiry. In his testimony, Schwerin claimed he was not aware of any financial transactions or compensation that Joe Biden received as vice president related to his family’s business dealings. Hunter’s lawyer, Kevin Morris, faced ethical issues when he was accused of spying on a movie production about President Biden.
Ye Jianming, a Chinese billionaire and former chairman of CEFC China Energy, has reportedly disappeared from public view amid allegations that Hunter Biden sought to gain favor with the company. Jianming’s name has appeared in graft trials of senior Chinese Communist Party officials and state bank executives.
Overall, with the investigations behind them, Hunter Biden’s former business partners are moving on with their lives, some keeping busy with new projects while others face ongoing scrutiny and legal challenges.
