Travis Kelce receives most fan votes for 2025 Pro Bowl

Travis Kelce may not have had his typical standout season in 2024, but that hasn’t stopped his fans from showing their unwavering support. Despite his numbers being below his usual standards, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end managed to secure the most fan votes for the 2025 Pro Bowl, with an impressive total of 252,200 votes. It’s safe to say that his relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift has played a significant role in boosting his popularity among a wider audience.
Kelce’s romance with Swift began in September of last year, catapulting him into the spotlight outside of football circles. Following the Chiefs’ victory in Super Bowl LVII, Kelce even had the opportunity to host Saturday Night Live, showcasing his charisma and charm to a broader audience. While his on-field performance may not have been as dominant as in previous seasons, Kelce still managed to rack up 97 receptions for 823 yards and three touchdowns this season.
However, this season is set to be the first time since 2015 that Kelce will play a full 16 games without reaching the 1,000-yard mark. Despite this, his popularity remains sky-high, evident in the overwhelming support he received from fans in the Pro Bowl voting.
In addition to Kelce, other Chiefs players have also seen a dip in offensive production this season. Nevertheless, the team has managed to secure a remarkable 15-1 record and claim the No. 1 seed in the AFC, thanks in part to their elite defense and some fortunate bounces of the ball.
As the Pro Bowl Games approach, Kelce looks set to make his 10th Pro Bowl appearance, solidifying his status as one of the top players in the league. The games, which now feature skills competitions and a flag football game in place of the traditional full-contact contest, will take place in Central Florida, culminating in a 7-on-7 flag football game at Camping World Stadium in Orlando on Feb. 2.
With retired Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning returning as head coaches for the two conferences, the stage is set for an exciting showcase of talent at the Pro Bowl. Despite his statistical dip, Kelce’s popularity and impact on the field remain undeniable, making him a fan favorite and a key figure in the NFL landscape.
